Our salary converter uses a simple formula: Annual Salary ÷ (Hours per Week × Weeks per Year) = Hourly Rate. For a standard full-time schedule of 40 hours per week and 52 weeks per year, that's 2,080 work hours annually.

If you take unpaid time off, adjust the weeks per year accordingly. For example, 50 weeks accounts for 2 weeks unpaid vacation. Part-time workers should enter their actual hours worked per week.
